Lychee Binchotan – Premium White Charcoal for Global Standards
Lychee Binchotan is a premium white charcoal crafted from high-quality lychee wood, renowned for its exceptional purity and performance. It is the ideal energy source for high-end BBQ, professional food preparation, and specialized industrial applications such as water purification, air filtration, and metallurgy.
Each piece of our Binchotan measures 5-12 cm in diameter and approximately 50 cm in length. The charcoal features a smooth, refined surface that ensures clean handling without leaving residue. With a fixed carbon content exceeding 90%, it delivers intense heat and a remarkably long burn time. Its superior density and hardness are evidenced by the clear metallic sound produced when two pieces strike each other.

Production Process
The manufacturing of Binchotan (White Charcoal) requires a sophisticated and rigorous carbonization technology compared to ordinary black charcoal.
- Kiln Loading & Drying: Lychee wood logs are stacked vertically inside the kiln. Firewood is burned at the kiln entrance to maintain a temperature between 87°C and 100°C until the wood is completely dry.
- Carbonization & Compression: The temperature is gradually increased to eliminate resins and compress the wood structure, enhancing its hardness.
- Refining: The kiln reaches a maximum temperature of 1,200°C. This stage breaks down the wood structure further, releasing volatile gases and leaving behind high-purity carbon.
- Cooling & Packing: The charcoal is pulled out and smothered in a mixture of sand and ash to cool down rapidly. Once completely cooled, the Binchotan is inspected and packed.
